Quasi preview new album with third single "Nowheresville"
Quasi have shared their new single "Nowheresville" as the third taster of their upcoming album Breaking The Balls Of History.
"Nowheresville" is the first outing of 2023 from Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss, and will appear on Quasi's Breaking The Balls Of History album with last year's "Doomscrollers" and "Queen of Ears" singles.
Breaking The Balls Of History will follow Quasi's 2013 album Mole City, and was produced by the duo alongside John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill) at Rob Lang Studios in Seattle.
Weiss says of working on the record, "It felt so life-affirming. I can hear in the music how happy I am to be there and to be playing at that level again. I get to exist."
"Nowheresville" is out now. Quasi's Breaking The Balls Of History album will arrive via Sub Pop on 10 February, and is available to pre-order now.
