Quasi deliver new single "Doomscrollers"
Quasi, the collaborative project of Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss, have shared a second single from their Breaking The Balls Of History album titled "Doomscrollers".
After announcing their first album in a decade, Breaking The Balls Of History, last month with the lead cut "Queen of Ears", Quasi have released a second outing from the record titled "Doomscrollers", which is accompanied by a video directed by B.A. Miale.
Breaking The Balls Of History will follow Quasi's 2013 album Mole City, and was produced by the duo alongside John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill) at Rob Lang Studios in Seattle.
Weiss says of working on the record, "It felt so life-affirming. I can hear in the music how happy I am to be there and to be playing at that level again. I get to exist."
"Doomscrollers" is out now. Quasi's Breaking The Balls Of History album will arrive via Sub Pop on 10 February 2023, and is available to pre-order now.
