New Year's Eve Gig Guide
Welcome to our weekly round-up of shows happening in the grand concert halls, dimly lit basements, airy cafe’s and grimy sweatboxes across the UK and Ireland. This week’s edition is a New Years Eve special and travels a little further afield than our shores too, picking up nights in Paris, Boston and New York too. All acts featured come with the Best Fit ‘Seal Of Approval’ so you can be assured that your hard earned cash will be well spent. Happy New Years Eve folks! See you, bleary eyed, in 2014!

Mykki Blanco & Friends @ Gramercy Theatre, New York City
Gearing up for the release of her debut album Michael, alongside the Cosmic Angel II: Let Big Sister Teach You mixtape, Mykki Blanco has some pretty big plans for next year but before all that, she’ll be seeing in 2014 in style with friends DJ Rashad, Ian Isiah and loads more. You can’t be sure of many things in life, but we’re pretty sure Mykki Blanco knows how to throw a party.
Tickets are available now. Check out more Mykki Blanco shows.
Pet Shop Boys @ Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh
This being last on our list has nothing to with quality because let’s face it, seeing in the New Years with Pet Shop Boys will be incredible, but because access to the Princes Street Gardens is actually now sold out. BUT tickets for the street party in Edinburgh are still on sale and you can generally get pretty close to the music anyway, even if you can’t see them play, it’ll invade your senses on this cold night like so much split beer!
Tickets for the Street Party are available now. Check out more Pet Shop Boys shows.
