Toronto’s resident indie veterans released their sixth full-length album Synthetica last month and have been flitting around Europe ever since. With sights now firmly set on Manchester, Emily Haines & co will be bringing their heavily synth laden guitar sounds to the Ritz.

Bombastic vocal loops, frenetic rhythms and tribal percussion, Merrill Garbus’ opus sounds more vital in a live setting than on record, which if you’re familiar with her work, is quite an achievement and will definitely be something to behold.
