Gigs of the Week, 31 January
Welcome to our weekly round-up of shows happening in the grand concert halls, dimly lit basements, airy cafe’s and grimy sweatboxes across the UK and Ireland. All acts featured come with the Best Fit ‘Seal Of Approval’ so you can be assured that your hard earned cash will be well spent. To tempt your wallets this week we’ve gathered a collection of dates from the likes of Taylor Swift, Bill Callahan and Anna Calvi.

Taylor Swift @ The O2, London 01/02
Ahh Taylor Swift. Anyone who says they don’t want to see a show with that many hits is clearly just lying. Prepare for mass singalongs and screaming teenage fans.
Tickets are available now. RSVP via Facebook. Check out more Taylor Swift shows.
Bill Callahan @ Olympia Theatre, Dublin 02/02
The enigmatic musicians musician Bill Callahan, not content with releasing 2013 highlight Dream River just once, re-released it under the guise of Have Fun With God earlier this year. A dub version of its 2013 predecessor. Releasing a dub version of your album seems to have become a bit of a thing. We’re not sure whether we’re fans of the premise at large but we are fans of Bill Callahan so you would do well to catch him live.
