EKKO Festival 2012
-
Bjørn Torske by Kim Hiorthoy
What do the delicately crafted ambient experiments of John Talabot, the twisted sonics of central Pennsylvania native Alec Koone, aka Balam Acab, the slick, Balearic pop efforts of El Perro del Mar, the minimalist wonders of Pearson Sound and a documentary about LCD Soundsystem all have in common? Yep, you guessed it, they’re all making an appearance at Bergen’s EKKO Festival. Held in Østre House in the city from 20 October – 3 November, Ekko boasts a seriously impressive, adventurous programme of electronic music, visual art events and film screenings.
