Porij share their first new music of the year, "You Should Know Me"
Manchester four-piece Porij have returned with their first release of the year, "You Should Know Me".
The track is the band's debut release with Play It Again Sam Records (Nation Of Language, Westerman and Connie Constance).
"The most balls to the walls tune on this record. This song sonically and lyrically is all about bravado. It explores the moments of anticipation before something could happen," they explain.
Following on from a busy 2022 where they sold out London's iconic Heaven; performed a much-hyped Glastonbury set, they supported Coldplay earlier this year on a run of stadium shows. Porij 's new material is co-produced by the legendary David Wrench (Frank Ocean, The xx, Young Fathers). The band will hit the road with Friendly Fires later this month, before a string of intimate UK shows in 2024, including an underplay at The Windmill on 18 January.
"You Should Know Me" is out now via Play It Again Sam Records.
