Porches announces his sixth studio album, Shirt
Porches, the recording project of NYC’s Aaron Maine, has announced his sixth studio album, Shirt, alongside new single, "Joker".
Shirt is part angsty fantasy, part confessional melodrama – a rock album that oscillates between reality and make-believe to reflect both the innocence of suburban youth and the frayed reality of adulthood. The album plays with the tension between one's person and persona – the weight of your dreams crashing up against your reality.
Porches also announces a fall North American tour, which kicks off in October and includes Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on 7 November and closes with a hometown show at Brooklyn Steel on 20 November. The North American tour follows Porches’ previously announced UK/European tour, which includes a date at London’s Heaven on 2 October.
Shirt, is set for release on 13 September via Domino. Tickets for the tour go on general sale this Friday at 10am local time via porchesmusic.com
