Pop girlies rejoice! Sugababes, Melanie C and All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis to perform at Nocturne Live 2024
Three era-defining British pop acts – Sugababes, Spice Girls' Melanie C, and All Saints' Shaznay Lewis – have been announced for Nocturne Live concert series on Saturday 15 June 2024.
“We are excited to be performing next year at the stunning setting of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. To get to play alongside our friends Mel and Shaznay is going to make the evening even more special," says Sugababes.
The trio of iconic British acts join 10-time Grammy-winning Chaka Khan, disco legends Sister Sledge, party-starting funk group The Fatback Band, multi-million-selling Australian pop group Crowded House, nine-time Grammy-winning US singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, and Mercury and Brit-nominated duo Turin Brakes on the line-up for next summer’s Nocturne Live series, which transforms the UNESCO world heritage site of The Great Court at Blenheim Palace into a spectacular 10,000-capacity open-air concert venue.
Sugababes exploded onto the UK music scene with their critically acclaimed debut single "Overload" and went on to become one of the most successful British girl bands of all time. Since reforming in 2022 with their original 1998 line up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, Sugababes have played at Glastonbury as well as a sold out show at London’s O2 Arena and a Boiler Room set, which became the most subscribed event in the platform’s history.
As a member of The Spice Girls, Melanie C sold more than 85 million records, releasing three studio albums, 13 singles and winning a host of awards including a BRIT for Outstanding Contribution to British Music before going on to solo fame with six top ten singles, including the international hits "I Turn To You" and "Never be the Same Again".
Shaznay Lewis is an Ivor Novello and Brit Award winning singer songwriter best known as being part of multi-million selling girl band All Saints. Shaznay was the key songwriter of the band, penning their iconic discography including number one singles "Bootie Call", "Pure Shores" and "Never Ever".
Next summer’s Nocturne Live runs from 12-16 June 2024. Tickets for Sugababes, Mel C and Shaznay Lewis start at £45 and are on sale now. For more information, visit nocturnelive.com.
