Pond's Nicholas Allbrook shares new solo track "Round Round the Moon and All"
Nicholas Allbrook, best known as being Pond's lead vocalist, has unveiled a new solo track titled "Round Round the Moon and All" as the second preview of his forthcoming album Manganese.
"Round Round the Moon and All" lands with a live performance video directed by Alex Haygarth, and follows last month's lead single "Jackie".
Allbrook says the release is "an old song I’ve never been able to record properly. Playing it with Rachel, Tayo, Edo and Cam made it work tho. Thea Woodward again plays magnificent flute."
His upcoming new solo album Manganese will follow 2019's Wabi sabi bruto bruta, and Pond's 2021 album 9. The new full-length is produced by Allbrook and HOKO (Nathaniel Hoho).
"Round Round the Moon and All" is out now. Nicholas Allbrook's Manganese album will arrive via Spinning Top Records on 9 June, and is available to pre-order now.
