PinkPantheress reveals she missed a studio session with Kendrick Lamar whilst on a cinema date
Producer and singer/songwriter has revealed in a recent i-D magazine profile that she missed an opportunity to get into a studio with Kendrick Lamar.
Discussing her dating life, during the interview, PinkPantheress reveals that she's "not trying to date" at the moment, even though she loves it. She goes on to reveal that that she was at the cinema watching Jake Gyllenhaal's Nightcrawler, and because her date asked her to put her phone on silent, she ended up missing a phone call that was from Kendrick Lamar, wanting to get into the studio.
Reflecting on how iconic it would've been, she adds: "Oh fuck, I can't even think about it."
PinkPantheress will hopefully be able to work with Lamar in the future, as she's already previously collaborated with his cousin Baby Keem. She features on the track "killstreaks" which is taken from the deluxe edition of his debut album, The Melodic Blue. Keem also has a writing credit on PinkPantheress' "Do you miss me?".
