Pink Floyd's David Gilmour agrees with wife's accusations that Roger Waters is "antisemitic" and a "Putin apologist"
Pink Floyd's David Gilmour has agreed with a tweet written by his wife Polly Samson which accused the band's Roger Waters of being "antisemitic", a "Putin apologist" and more.
Gilmour and Waters' decades-long feud has reached a new level yesterday (6 February) when Polly Samson, wife of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour, and a credited lyricist on several songs for the band, tweeted about Waters, accusing him of being "antisemitic" among other things.
Samson wrote, "Sadly Roger Waters you are antisemitic to your rotten core. Also a Putin apologist and a lying, thieving, hypocritical, tax-avoiding, lip-synching, misogynistic, sick-with-envy, megalomaniac. Enough of your nonsense."
Gilmour also commented on his wife's tweet, writing, "Every word demonstrably true."

Last night a new post was shared on Waters' socials, which read: "Roger Waters is aware of the incendiary and wildly inaccurate comments made about him on Twitter by Polly Samson which he refutes entirely. He is currently taking advice as to his position."

Samson's comments about Waters come after the musician's recent interview with Berliner Zeitung, which saw him discuss his views on Putin, Ukraine, Israel, being part of the BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel) and more.
