Phoenix have confirmed speculation that Clairo is the mystery artist that will feature on a new version of their Alpha Zulu song "After Midnight".
Earlier this week Phoenix started teasing a new version of "After Midnight" featuring an unnamed artist for this Thursday, and fans speculated that Clairo had contributed additional vocals. It turns out they were right, as Phoenix have today (15 March) confirmed that Clairo will appear on the updated song.

The collaboration will mark both Phoenix and Clairo's first release of the year. Although Clairo hasn't released new music as the lead artist since 2021's Sling album, she did collaborate with Marcus Mumford last year.
Phoenix's new version of "After Midnight" featuring Clairo will be released tonight (15 March) at 4pm PT / 11pm GMT.
