Phoebe Bridgers and Snail Mail's Lindsey Jordan to appear in new A24 horror film I Saw the TV Glow
Phoebe Bridgers and Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan are among the musicians that will appear in the upcoming A24 horror film I Saw the TV Glow.
I Saw the TV Glow - written and directed by We’re All Going to the World’s Fair director Jane Schoenbrun - will, according to The Hollywood Reporter, follow two teenagers (played by Justice Smith and Bridgette Lundy-Paine) as they bond over a scary TV show, but the line between TV and reality begins to blur when the show is cancelled.
As well as starring Smith and Lundy-Paine, I Saw the TV Glow will star Snail Mail's Lindsey Jordan, Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Amber Benson, Ian Foreman, Conner O’Malley, Michael Maronna, Emma Portner, and Danny Tamberelli.
Bridgers will appear in the film as part of Saddest Factory Records' Sloppy Jane, who will feature in I Saw the TV Glow along with King Woman.
On Instagram, Jordan wrote of the announcement, "Just honoured beyond belief to announce that i’m acting in the fucking genius Jane Schoenbrun’s new movie I Saw the TV Glow."
Earlier this week Phoebe Bridgers launched a vegan benefit taco named after her dog Maxine.
