
Pharrell reportedly in talks to take over Virgil Abloh’s role at Louis Vuitton
According to reports, Pharrell is in talks with Louis Vuitton to succeed the late Virgil Abloh as the brand's menswear head designer.
According to The Wall Street Journal, "people familiar" with Louis Vuitton have claimed that the brand is in talks with Pharrell to fill their vacant role of men’s head designer, following in the footsteps of the late Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021.
Back in 2003, Pharrell and Nigo co-founded Billionaire Boys Club together and Ice Cream footwear, and just a few years later in 2008 he co-designed an eyewear and jewellery collection for Louis Vuitton. Over the years he's also worked with Adidas, Uniqlo, Chanel and more.
In November last year it was revealed that Pharrell's upcoming album Phriends will feature a BTS collaboration.
