Peter Xan announces forthcoming EP, Empty Space
Peter Xan has announced the forthcoming release, Empty Space, alongside the new single, "For The Weekend".
Speaking on the new single, Xan offers: “For The Weekend is about self acceptance. I screwed up my last relationship trying to be someone I wasn’t. Ultimately you can go from hero to villain. And a the weekend we use as an escape to failed situationships and going out being young regardless of the outcome we still turn up. If you’re heartbroken but still wanna party with friends this is your track. For me it’s a more pop rock version of rejection anthem.”
Empty Space is the follow up to 2023 EP GOD SAVE THE KING, which featured collaborations with the likes of Fontaines D.C frontman Grian Chatten and Speedy Wunderground producer Dan Carey.
Later this year, Peter Xan will be supporting The Libertines, and will be performing at the Nine8 Fest at The Cause in London this October.
