Pet Shop Boys releasing new music in April
Pet Shop Boys are set to share four previously unreleased tracks recorded in 2015 in April as part of the 2023 edition of their Annually book in April.
In April Pet Shop Boys will return with the 2023 edition of their Annually book. The 2023 version is a 64-page hardback book that includes a diary and behind-the-scenes photos from the first leg of their Dreamworld tour, news from the past year and information on future plans, and a four-track CD titled Lost.
Lost will feature four previously unreleased songs that were recorded in 2015. The self-produced tracks were mixed/engineered by Pete Gleadall, and were originally recorded as demos in London and Berlin for potential inclusion on their Super album. The tracks are also expected to arrive on digital platforms in mid-April.
Neil Tennant says the songs weren't used "not because we didn't like them, but because they didn't fit the album."
He adds that they're being released as Lost this year because "they all sit together quite well, production-wise, they're all super-electronic," and "some of them are sort of relevant to the world at the moment."
Pet Shop Boys will be releasing their first new music for two years with the four-track CD EP, “Lost”, which accompanies the 2023 edition of Pet Shop Boys “Annually" book, available in April. Pre-order from the link below.https://t.co/NjNQToK28m pic.twitter.com/37cUS0DzAv
