Paul Thomas Anderson-directed Cameron Winter concert film to premiere at New York Film Festival
The New York Film Festival has confirmed that Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, will receive its world premiere on 1 October as part of the programming for its 64th edition.
The film is set to be screened on 35mm at Alice Tully Hall, with Winter and Anderson both in attendance. It captures an intimate glimpse of Winter’s solo performance at Carnegie Hall last December, which saw him play songs from his debut album Heavy Metal, singles, and three previously unreleased tracks.
Passes for The New York Film Festival are on sale now in limited quantities, with single tickets to go on sale to the general public on 15 September at 12PM Eastern Time (5PM BST).
Following its premiere at The New York Film Festival, Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall will hit theatres in North America with an exclusive 35mm tour beginning in November in New York, with further dates in Los Angeles, Washington DC, San Francisco, Atlanta, Nashville and more at select theatres. Tickets for the announced tour dates are set to go on sale on 17 September, with more cities to be announced in the coming weeks.
