Paris Texas announce their debut album MID AIR
The album announcement coincides with the brand new single, "Everybody's Safe Until..."
Paris Texas previously released a cryptic opening chapter introducing the world to their debut album as they shared two singles "BULLET MAN" and "PANIC!!!" which premiered on Zane Lowe's Apple Music 1.
Today, the share the closing offering of their trilogy of singles with “Everybody's Safe Until...". Commenting on the single, Paris Texas says: “it wraps about everything we fear about being alive right now in this day in age, it feels like things are trying to kill us and if we die the world will keep on dancing.”
In a statement announcing the album, Paris Texas say that they've never been so excited to release anything in their lives. "Like broski two years ago we dropped some shit and y’all really catapulted us into the most surreal position imaginable. And that’s kind of what this albums about. We kind of got shot into this pseudo-fame, And n*gga like, we ain’t even know if we was gonna keep going up or fall on our f*cking faces, just been in this weird purgatorial state."
"We had to keep it pushing for real not even knowing what was next… working through breakups and deaths and weird friends, all that cliche biopic shit. But trust me when i say this shit fire for real. like we hit that muthaf*ckin’ ramp and we doing mctwists on this album."
The duo first emerged from the fray with their eight-song BOY ANONYMOUS, which dropped in May 2021, to much critical acclaim. This was followed six months later by Red Hand Akimbo.
"Everybody's Safe Until..." is out now. Paris Texas' debut album, MID AIR, arrives on 21 July.
