Paramore donate almost $70,000 to Medical Aid for Palestinians

In a comment on Reddit, announcing the collaboration, Bug Girl shared: "Hi this is Bug Girl / Maddie Sinclair! I’ve been donating 100% of my profits since May and have been able to donate roughly $10,000 to gofundme’s for families needing evacuation and MAP (medical aid for Palestinians)." She added that Hayley Williams of Paramore reached out to see if she would be interested in a collaboration, donating all funds to MAP.

Following the sale of the "cool babies" t-shirts, Paramore and Bug Girl announced yesterday evening, that they were able to raise $30,429 from their collaboration. Going a step further, Paramore matched the funds raised, and are donating a total of $60,858 to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

"Paramore snuck up on me with their kindness and surprised me today with the fact that they MATCHED the donation," Bug Girl shared via Instagram. "I really can’t describe how much of a dream come true it’s been to work with a band I’ve admired for so long, and to be repeatedly surprised by their wonderful ideas and dedication to making sure this drop has such an amazing impact, one that I couldn’t possibly achieve alone
