Last night (13 April) in Dublin on the first show of the UK/EU leg of their tour for This Is Why, Paramore debuted a song from Williams' solo album Petals For Armor.

When Williams released the first part of her debut solo album Petals For Armor back in February 2020, fans were rife with excitement to witness her first ever tour as a solo artist, with shows around the US/UK and a Spotlight Show at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Unfortunately as the Coronavirus pandemic spread across the world, her touring plans were halted and a selection of the songs were only able to their debut on NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Corner.

At the end of 2022, during their Fall tour ahead of the release of their sixth studio album This Is Why, Paramore included Petal For Armor's lead single "Simmer" into their live set, as well as including long-time favourite "Boogie Juice", by drummer Zac Farro's band HalfNoise.

Taking to the stage in Dublin on the first leg of their EU/UK tour, Paramore debuted "Liar" and "Crave" – from This Is Why – and fans have taken to Twitter to express their complete shock at the band also playing "Crystal Clear", from the second half of Williams' first solo album, with most fans posting the crying emoji.

One user wrote: "so?? paramore played liar, crave, and crystal clear??? and i wasn’t there????", with another saying: "PARAMORE HAVE CRAVE AND LIAR ON THE SETLIST. HAYLEY SANG CRYSTAL CLEAR?? PARAMORE ARE PLAYING LAST HOPE????!???!!?? I MAY NOT SURVIVE THIS GIG NEXT WEEK BUT DEAR LORD I AM OKAY WITH THAT."

According to Twitter, Paramore played a cover of The Cranberries' "Dreams" and had to cut fan-favourite "All I Wanted" due to technical issues.

This Is Why is out now. Paramore continue their sold-out EU/UK tour in Cardiff on 15 April.
