Pale Blue Eyes, Porij, and VC Pines announced for Greenpeace Field at Glastonbury Festival 2023
Greenpeace Field at Glastonbury Festival 2023 announce their line-up.
Greenpeace continues to push hard for a future that challenges oppression and allows everyone equal access to a safe planet. The Field uses creativity to highlight the connection between people, the planet, and how everything interacts based upon a simple philosophy: “Everything around us is interconnected. The environment connects to everything, so our environmentalism must too.”
The Sun Stage combines big name artists, cult favourites and hotly-tipped newcomers, including Pale Blue Eyes, Grove, and VC Pines. Glitterbox will light up The Sun Stage on Friday night with performances from Girls of the Internet, Fat Tony, before the night closes with two rare B2B sets from Shapeshifters and Sophie Lloyd plus Eats Everything and Andy Cato of Groove Armada.
New for 2023 is The Rhizosphere, a perception-shifting destination located behind the Sun Stage to experience life amongst its roots in technicolour wonder. Dedicated to celebrating the importance of soil to humankind, it’s a versatile space created by artists Poppy Flint and Benji Bailes (Underfoot) which hosts multi-sensory exhibits, workshops and myco-feasts by day before transforming into a party space as night falls.
The acts on the Greenpeace Field will be joining the line-up alongside Jockstrap, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Los Bitchos who are set to play the Park Stage with, Shygirl, Alison Goldfrapp, Obongjayar, Charlotte Adigery, and Alabaster DePlume.
The Chemical Brothers, Skepta, Floating Points, Interplanetary Criminal, and Chloé Robinson who are performing on the Arcadia Stage, and Big Joanie, Cassyette and Cavetown who are at the Left Field stage.
Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, and Elton John are set to headline the festival.
