Oscar Jerome unveils forthcoming album and short film, The Fork
Songwriter and producer Oscar Jerome has announced his new album The Fork, alongside the release of its title track and an accompanying short film.
The Fork is the first record that Oscar Jerome has produced entirely himself. It begun as a challenge he gave himself to make tracks by sampling his 2022 album The Spoon, building them into completely new songs - a literal reflection of his growth between the two albums.
"The Fork explores the challenge of letting go of the self, letting go of the individual and the ego," he explains. "Allowing yourself to be at one with nature, at one with the cycle of time, life and death, connecting on a deeper level with others and with existence. Allowing yourself to wholeheartedly trust, love and learn. The music presents some things I have reflected on or learnt along the way and I hope some people will listen and relate or reflect within themselves."
Oscar Jerome recently announced his most extensive headline tour to date across the UK and Europe, including a night at Scala in London, as well as dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Brighton, Oslo, Berlin, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Madrid, and more.
