Singer-songwriter and producer, Orion Sun has announced her forthcoming self-titled album, Orion, and has shared the new single from the project “Mary Jane”.
The album serves as Orion’s first offering following a two year hiatus. The single, “Mary Jane” tells a journey of love and incredible hardship and joy that it can bring, through an earnest exploration and surrender to love, she soundtracks a coming of age story.
"This song is about coping and facing fear head on. I lean hard on my vices when it feels like the world it's falling from the sky," she explains. "It helps you escape for a while, but no matter where you go, you can’t run from yourself. I had to face my fears eventually, and I’m glad I did.”
Orion, is slated for release on 20 September via Mom + Pop, and is available to pre-order now.
