oreglo experiment with vocals for the first time on new single, "Passion Dance"
London-based band oreglo have returned with the release of their brand new single, "Passion Dance".
Following their debut EP, Not Real People, released last year, oreglo's new single "Passion Dance" features vocals from the band for the first time in the form of a spoken intro from the band’s Nicco Rocco (drums) and a rap from c-sé (keys).
Speaking on the new single, oreglo share: “Our new track ‘Passion Dance’ offers a fresh take on the McCoy Tyner classic; instead of arranging a contemporary tune into a jazz configuration, we’ve taken a jazz tune and flipped it on its head. It’s theatre, grime, jazz and rock meeting at a centrepoint, to paint a picture of who we are as oreglo!”
"Passion Dance" is out now via Brownswood Recordings.
