Oneohtrix Point Never, Panda Bear, Disclosure and more to contribute to new Daft Punk book
A new Daft Punk book titled After Daft: Daft Punk & The Rewiring of 21st Century Culture is due out in 2024, and it'll feature contributions from Oneohtrix Point Never, Panda Bear, Disclosure and many more.
After Daft: Daft Punk & The Rewiring of 21st Century Culture is written by Gabriel Szatan, and although the project was initially announced in 2021, it's been revealed that it'll feature interviews with Franz Ferdinand, Oneohtrix Point Never, Peaches, Panda Bear, Carl Craig, The Blessed Madonna, Erol Alkan, The Avalanches, Kevin Saunderson, Paul Johnson, Optimo and Tiga, Alan Braxe, DJ Falcon, Air and Busy P.
The book will give readers "unprecedented insight into key events that gilded the group's legend", including their "Alive 2006-07 audiovisual tour, formative experiences with dance music's Black and Latin 'teachers', their Grammy-sweeping blockbuster LP Random Access Memories and the factors which precipitated their split in 2021."
After Daft: Daft Punk & The Rewiring of 21st Century Culture is expected to arrive in spring 2024, and is available to pre-order now.
