Olivia Rodrigo announces the release of her forthcoming album GUTS
Following the announcement of a brand new single, "vampire", which is due later this week, Rodrigo confirms the release date of her forthcoming album, GUTS.
GUTS was recorded with producer Daniel Nigro, who also collaborated with her on the debut album, SOUR, which saw her nominated for seven Grammy Awards. "vampire" – the forthcoming single – will be Rodrigo's first release since the 2021 album.
“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” says Olivia Rodrigo. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20 – it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”
GUTS arrives on 8 September via Geffen Records.
