Oliver Sim cancels September and October tour dates
The xx's Oliver Sim has cancelled his upcoming shows in September and October, revealing that "timing is everything and sometimes things don't quite come together the way we'd hoped."
Ahead of his debut solo album Hideous Bastard arriving next week, Oliver Sim has shared a statement on socials cancelling his tour dates across September and October.
"Part of the reason Hideous Bastard came to be was imagining playing the songs live," Sim wrote. "But timing is everything and sometimes things don't quite come together the way we’d hoped."
He continued, "The shows booked for September and October are sadly not able to happen so we'll have to wait a little longer to hear these songs in a room together. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused but I look forward to putting on a truly hideous show for you very soon."
Sim also thanked fans for their patience and added that refunds for the cancelled shows are available from the point of purchase.
Oliver Sim's debut solo album Hideous Bastard will be released on 9 September via Young, and is available to pre-order now.
