Acclaimed UK rapper/singer and Afro-swing pioneer Not3s releases his brand new, Son Of The Soil EP.
The EP was birthed from a trip to Fela Kuti’s grave site in Lagos, Nigeria where Not3s had a chance meeting with Bankulli (Grammy nominated Nigerian artist), during which Bankuli told him he should continue the Afrobeats legacy as a ’son of the soil’.
Across the project Not3s deepens the connection with his Nigerian heritage, infusing sounds found across the continent with his signature London swagger. Features on the project are provided by Nigerian artists Odumodublvck and Mayorkun as well as fellow London native Hamzaa.
Son Of The Soil is out now.
