
Nicki Minaj says that her new album will arrive in October
The release will be Nicki Minaj's first album, in five years.
Nicki Minaj took to her socials yesterday (5 June) to drop the release date of her forthcoming album. She shared no further details other than writing "The Album" alongside the CD and bow emoji's, but it has been officially confirmed that new music will be arriving before the year is out. This forthcoming album will be Minaj's first full-length release since 2018's Queen.

The Album 💿🎀
She has steadily dropped new releases over the course of this year, with the Sexxy Red collaboration, "Pound Town 2", "Red Ruby da Sleaze", and the Ice Spice collaboration, "Princess Diana".
In 2022, Minaj became the first solo female rapper to debut at number one since Ms. Lauryn Hill's 1998 track "Doo Wop (That Thing), when she shared the single "Super Freaky Girl", which sampled Rick James.
Nicki Minaj's forthcoming album is due for release on 20 October.
