Nick Offerman’s cover of Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time" is on The Last of Us soundtrack
The full soundtrack for HBO's The Last of Us TV series adaptation has landed, and includes Nick Offerman's heart-wrenching cover of Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time".
Nick Offerman's cover of Linda Ronstadt's "Long Long Time" appeared in episode three of The Last of Us, which was also titled "Long Long Time", and is included in the full soundtrack for the TV adaptation of the video game, which includes the score composed by Gustavo Santaolalla and David Fleming
Santaolalla said in a statement, "Creating the music for the HBO series based on the video game The Last of Us was, in a way, an expansion of what we have developed and recorded for the first instalment of the game. Once again, the emotion at the heart of the score this time driven by the vision of Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin and by the power of this amazing story."
The Last of Us: Season One soundtrack is out now. The TV series continues on HBO on 6 March.
