Nessa Barrett shares "american jesus" – her second release of 2023.
"american jesus" is a fan favourite, which was debuted during Nessa Barrett's recent sold-out Young Forever tour. The new single arrives after the release of "BANG BANG".
As she explains, the song is about longing and desire. "It's about the fantasy of someone who is your saviour, your cowboy in a crown. Everyone dreams about a love that’s heavenly, and I know everyone will be able to relate to this."
Barrett will play her first UK headline show at London’s Heaven on 16 May. She has also just been unveiled as one of the faces of SKIMS’ new campaign featuring the next generation of musical stars, along with Ice Spice, PinkPantheress and RAYE.
