Nelly Furtado and Jessie Ware announced as headliners for Mighty Hoopla 2024
The Mighty Hoopla line-up for 2024 has been revealed, featuring headliners Nelly Furtado and Jessie Ware.
In a UK festival exclusive, Mighty Hoopla announces the inimitable Nelly Furtado as this year’s Saturday headliner. With a career spanning two decades and six studio albums – including the monumentally successful Whoa, Nelly!, Folklore, and Loose – she is poised for her Hoopla headline debut.
Having first played Mighty Hoopla in 2022 as its special guest, Jessie Ware now returns to headline the festival on Sunday night.
Speaking about Mighty Hoopla 2024, Jessie Ware said: “I am so honoured to be headlining the Sunday at Mighty Hoopla. It’s such a special festival full of joy and fun and I guarantee I will give you that in abundance. Thank you so much. It’s an important festival. They know how to throw the best party. To be a headliner is a massive deal. I can’t wait to bring the fun, the joys, the pearls and a whole lot of dancing to Brockwell park."
Mighty Hoopla's special guests for the weekend include Grammy award-winning artist Kim Petras and Rita Ora. Elsewhere on the line up is S-Club 7 member Rachel Stevens, the critically acclaimed Alison Goldfrapp, and 90s pop hit-maker Louise Redknapp who, before turning solo, was one-quarter of the R&B group Eternal. Also announced is hyper-pop prodigy Rebecca Black, Kamillie, Lynks, Maya Jane Coles, B*witched, Claire Richards, En Vogue, Eve.
Speaking about Mighty Hoopla 2024, festival organiser Glyn Fussell said: It’s hard to get bigger, queerer and more colourful each year, but I think we’ve done it in 2024. I have never been prouder of a line up and there really is something for everybody."
"It’s a real testament to the festival, that we have been able to attract such huge names from across the world to Brockwell Park. Once again our production will be stepping up to ensure it’s a mind blowing weekend for our audience," adds festival organiser Jamie Tagg.
