Mura Masa releases new single "Whenever I Want"
Mura Masa releases "Whenever I Want", the first taste of original new music since 2022's demon time.
Returning from the success of producing PinkPantheress and Ice Spice collab "Boy's a Liar pt.2", as well as his third studio album, demon time – which saw him collaborate with Shygirl, Gretel Hänlyn, slowthai, Erika de Casier, and Pa Salieu – the GRAMMY-nominated artist is back with his first solo song of the year.
"Whenever I Want" has its debut as Radio 1's Hottest Record on Clara Amfo's Future Sounds show.
Mura Masa features on Forbes’ illustrious 30 Under 30 list and is a platinum-selling, Grammy Award-winning (and 4x nominated) artist, who has surpassed 2 billion streams and headlined shows at Alexandra Palace and Warehouse Project.
Mura Masa has also confirmed details of a run of shows in the US including a headline set at both weekends of Coachella Festival.
"When I Want" is out now via Pond Recordings.
