Moses Sumney announces Sophcore EP
Moses Sumney has announced his first release in three years, Sophcore, alongside the lead single, "Gold Coast".
“Sophcore explores the meeting points between sensuality and intuition…esotericism and populism…deep feeling and fun,” Sumney said of the forthcoming release “It’s diving into subterranean rhythm, bass and drums, and making music for the hips as well as the heart.”
In 2021, Moses Sumney released the live album Live From Blackalachia. Since then, he has contributed to soundtracks for The Idol and Everything Everywhere All at Once in the time since then, and stars in the most recent TI West film, MaXXXine. His last full-length release was 2020’s Græ.
Sophcore is set for release on 2 August via Moses Sumney's own label Tuntum.
