Moses Sumney announces self-directed concert film with clip of him covering Björk's "Come to Me"
Moses Sumney has announced A Performance in V Acts, a new self-directed concert film shot in LA, and has shared a video from the film of him covering Björk's "Come to Me" and his own "Doomed" song.
A Performance in V Acts, filmed at The Ford in LA, is directed by Sumney and will arrive next week, but to accompany the announcement of the concert film, Sumney has released a 14-minute clip that sees him cover Björk's "Come to Me", as well as giving a performance of his own Aromanticism track "Doomed".
Sumney wrote of the concert film on Instagram, "Since we will no longer be touring græ, this film will mark the official end of the græ album cycle. It also ushers in a new period of creativity for me – one in which I take a continued break from making albums and touring music to focus on other disciplines and fostering new loves."
Last weekend Sumney appeared in the second teaser for The Weeknd's upcoming HBO series The Idol.
Moses Sumney's A Performance in V Acts concert film will arrive on 31 August.
