Moses Sumney and Halsey cast in Ti West's new horror film MaXXXine
The third instalment of West’s X film series – which includes X and Pearl, has just announced its cast.
Mia Goth who plays lead in Pearl also features in MaXXXine as well as Kevin Bacon, Lily Collins, Bobby Cannavale, Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Sumney has previously featured in a handful of film and TV shows, including Creed, Random Acts of Flyness, and the forthcoming HBO series The Idol. Halsey has previously done voice acting work in American Dad and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, as well as starring in Roadies, A Star Is Born, and more.
X chronicled a group of aspiring porn stars as they attempted to shoot an adult film on a creepy farm. X, which stars Mia Goth, Kid Cudi, Jenna Ortega, and Brittany Snow, preceeds the events of the upcoming MaXXXine.
MaXXXine is written and directed by Ti West. Production will commence later this month.
