Morrissey says Miley Cyrus wants to be taken off "I Am Veronica" song two years after recording it
In a Christmas Eve update on his site, Morrissey revealed that Miley Cyrus wants to be taken off his unreleased track "I Am Veronica" nearly two years after recording it together.
Last Friday (23 December) Morrissey updated his site with a message announcing that he's "voluntarily withdrawn from any association with Capitol Records," and a day later, another message appeared on his site revealing Miley Cyrus wants to be removed from a song they worked on together for his Bonfire of Teenagers album.
"Miley Cyrus now wants to be taken off the song "I Am Veronica" for which she volunteered backing vocals almost two years ago," the message read. "This comes at a time when Morrissey has disassociated himself with Capitol Records (Los Angeles), who control the hidden album Bonfire of Teenagers."
Cyrus is currently teasing her return with a countdown that ends on New Year's Day, as well as through billboards in major cities across the world.
On New Year's Eve Miley Cyrus will host her annual New Year’s Eve Party with Dolly Parton.
