Montreux Jazz Festival announces free programme with Deep Purple, Pink Floyd's Nick Mason, Elmiene, and more
Montreux Jazz Festival has announced the free programme for its 58th edition, which will take place on the shores of Lake Geneva from 5 – 20 July 2024.
Across the many free stages, highlights include Kenya Grace, Good Neighbours, Sid Sriram, Marcel Dettman, Budapest jazz fusion trio Jazzbois, saxophonist Venna, New York guitarist Dargz, British soul singer Elmiene, South African house music DJ Black Coffee and many more.
Daily workshops will include members of Deep Purple and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason sharing their memories of Montreux in the seventies, as well as jazz artists such as Lakecia Benjamin, Faraj Suleiman and Roni Kaspi. 14 July will be focused on Serge Gainsbourg, with a workshop and four events dedicated to the iconic French artist.

The free programme takes place alongside previously announced musical artists such as RAYE, Sting, Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, Janelle Monáe, PJ Harvey, Smashing Pumpkins, Jungle, Duran Duran, André 3000, Laufey, Vulfpeck, Tyla, Brittany Howard, Air and more.
