Miley Cyrus announces new single "Flowers" and covers David Bowie with David Byrne during New Year’s Eve special
Miley Cyrus has announced her forthcoming single "Flowers", and was also joined by David Byrne to cover David Bowie's "Let's Dance" during her NBC New Year's Eve special.
After launching a countdown and teasing her return with billboards in major cities around the world, Miley Cyrus has announced that her first single of 2023 "Flowers" is arriving next week.
Prior to announcing "Flowers", Cyrus hosted her annual New Year's Eve special on NBC with help from co-host Dolly Parton. As well as performing "Wrecking Ball", "I Will Always Love You", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", "Jolene" and more with Parton, Cyrus brought out Paris Hilton and Sia to play "Stars Are Blind", and was also joined by FLETCHER to perform "Midnight Sky". David Byrne also made an appearance, joining Sia to play "Unstoppable". He also teamed up with Cyrus to cover David Bowie's "Let's Dance".
Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" single will arrive on 13 January.
