Mick Jenkins and Masego join Venna on new cut "Casa Lopez"
Grammy-winning saxophonist and producer Venna has unveiled his new single "Casa Lopez", which features Mick Jenkins and Masego.
Venna has followed up October's "Sicily' Box" with a new single titled "Casa Lopez", which features Mick Jenkins and Masego, and is teamed with a self-directed video.
""Casa Lopez" is a special one for the project," Venna says. "Made the beat in my old studio in Hackney with Charlie Stacey when I first started making new ideas for the next body of work. I knew i needed someone crazy to bless the beat. First trip to LA I linked up with the infamous Mick Jenkins and this was the first tune we made. Sat with the tune for a while and we both realised the record needed a different hook. On my second trip to LA I linked up with my brudda Masego and the rest was history. Got two artists that I’ve rocked with for a while on one record. Project soon land."
His forthcoming project will follow his 2021 EP VENOLOGY.
