Michelle Williams is set to narrate audio book of Britney Spears' memoir, The Woman in Me
Earlier this year, Britney Spears announced her debut memoir The Woman in Me. It has now been revealed that actress Michelle Williams will be narrating the forthcoming audiobook.
Promising to reveal “for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history,” according to a press release from Gallery Books, the memoir is said to put a spotlight on the “enduring power of music and love and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.”
Speaking to PEOPLE, Spears revealed that she will not be taking part in the entire audiobook. Instead, award-winning actress Michelle Williams will take on the role as narrator. "This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it. Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook.”
