MENT Ljubljana announces its tenth anniversary lineup with MRFY and Los Bitchos
Ljubljana showcase festival and conference MENT has released the programme for its tenth anniversary celebrations.
For the first time, MENT will run for four days, from 21-24 February. This year’s novelty is CE/MENT, a new festival segment focusing on electronic music and the club scene.
Since the first edition, MENT’s mission has been to showcase new faces and artists who will shape the future of European music. This year’s edition includes specially curated stages in collaboration with the Slovenian national radio Val 202, the Dirty Skunks collective, the local independent label Moonlee Records and the Hali Gali platform.
For the opening ceremony, Slovenian act MRFY are premiering their debut album in English, alongside London quartet Los Bitchos. Part of the conference programme will be dedicated exclusively to current developments in the world of electronic music, while the likes of Blawan, u.r.trax, Jadzia, Marie Pravda and Strahinja Arbutina will perform as part of CE/MENT on Friday and Saturday.
Ljubljana showcase festival and conference MENT takes place from 21-24 February. For more information, visit www.ment.si.
