Megan Thee Stallion demands Warner Music to share documents about Traumazine album leak
Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers want a Texas judge to get Warner Music Group to share documents that could help reveal who was involved in leaking parts of her Traumazine album earlier this month.
According to Billboard (via Pitchfork), new paperwork regarding the Traumazine leak was filed in a Houston court by Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers on Monday (22 August), and as well as requesting to gain access to documents that could provide more information about the album leak, the filing states that Megan Thee Stallion "does not, at this time, accuse WMG of intentionally releasing her album".
Her lawyers reportedly told a judge that Warner Music Group "was one of the few companies that received a copy of Traumazine in advance of its formal release."
As well as attempting to get documents from WMG, Megan Thee Stallion wants internet service providers Cablevision and Datacamp to share information regarding the IP addresses that leaked Traumazine.
Last week Megan Thee Stallion filed an amended complaint asking for at least $1 million in damages from her label 1505 Certified Entertainment, and has asked for the "entirely one-sided" contract to come to an end.
