Meg Baird has started 2023 with a new single titled "Ashes, Ashes", which is the third taster of her first solo album since 2015, Furling.
"Ashes, Ashes" is accompanied by a Rachael Pony Cassells-directed video, and will appear on Baird's Furling album with last year's "Star Hill Song" and "Will You Follow Me Home?".
Furling will be Baird's first solo album since 2015's Don't Weigh Down the Light, although she did collaborate with Mary Lattimore on Ghost Forests in 2018.
"Ashes, Ashes" is out now. Meg Baird's Furling album will arrive via Drag City on 27 January, and is available to pre-order now.
