Maya Hawke stars in trailer for new Wes Anderson film Asteroid City
Maya Hawke is one of many famous faces to feature in the official trailer for Wes Anderson's upcoming film Asteroid City.
Asteroid City will be Hawke's first acting role since playing Robin Buckley in Stranger Things, and will also follow the release of her second album MOSS that arrived in September last year.
Asteroid City will follow Anderson's 2020 film The French Dispatch, and is set in a mid-1950s American desert town during a "Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention", which gets "spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events."
As well as starring Hawke, the film will feature Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Ed Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Rupert Friend, Steve Carell, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie and many more.
Asteroid City will arrive in cinemas on 16 June.
