Master Peace shares brand new single, "Start You Up"
Master Peace has shared his new single, "Start You Up", which is taken from his forthcoming album, How To Make A Master Peace.
Produced by Matt Schwartz, Julian Bunetta and Matt Zara, Master Peace says this record, which is inspired in part by the late nights and parties of his teenage past, is “simultaneously of the past and the future”. Speaking of the brand new single, he adds: "I wrote Start You Up and it instantly became one of my favourite records from the album. It has that Friendly Fires, Scissor Sisters energy with the swag of Kele Okereke! The song is about reigniting an old flame or an old relationship and trying to make it work even though you have your concerns. I wanted to give indie sleaze!”
"Start You Up" follows previous singles, "Get Naughty !", "I Might Be Fake", "LOO SONG", and "Veronica". Master Peace has also recently announced his own headline tour set for next year, which spans eleven dates taking in a show at the legendary Scala in London on 19 March.
How To Make A Master Peace, is set for release on 1 March via PMR.
