mary in the junkyard have announced their debut EP, This Old House, alongside the brand new single, "Marble Arch".
The band have shared “Marble Arch” alongside an accompanying live session shot in night vision. The band's own Clari Freeman-Taylor says, “i wrote the words to marble arch in the back of the book 'wise children' under the actual marble arch, it's about the intense relationship between sisters, and leaving home and not wanting to come back.” Speaking further about the forthcoming EP, she adds: “this old house is all about the memories that exist in the walls and floors of places, what it feels like to be home and away from it.”
The four track collection features previous singles, "tuesday" and “Ghost” and was produced by Richard Russell in West London. The group have also announced their largest headline show to date, taking place at the ICA on 3 October.
This Old House is set for release on 9 May via AMF Records.
