Marika Hackman presents the brand new single, "Slime"
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Marika Hackman has released her new single "Slime", which is taken from her forthcoming album, Big Sigh.
"Slime" arrives accompanied by a video co-directed by Hackman and Anne-Sofie Lindgaard. Speaking of the song's meaning, Hackman says: ""Slime" tracks the excitement of falling in love, tinged with the chaos of watching the fallout from it happen around you.”
The track follows on from "Hanging" and "No Caffeine", which arrived four years after her critically acclaimed album, Any Human Friend.
In celebration of the forthcoming album, Marika Hackman is set to tour the UK and EU in 2024. The UK leg kicks off in Glasgow on 12 March and culminates at Hackney Church on 21 March. The EU leg continues on in Brussels on 8 April before ending on 15 April in Paris.
Big Sigh is set for release on 12 January via Chrysalis Records, and is available to pre-order now. For more information on Marika Hackman's forthcoming tour dates, visit marikahackman.com.
