Margo Price covers Sleater-Kinney's "Turn It On"
Sleater-Kinney have unveiled Margo Price's version of "Turn It On" as the second outing from their Dig Me In: A Dig Me Out Covers Album.
After previewing the covers album with Courtney Barnett's rendition of "Words and Guitar" last month, Sleater-Kinney have released a second outing from the record ahead of its release next week.
The second single from the record is Margo Price's version of "Turn It On", and according to Sleater-Kinney, it "includes an instrument never before featured on an SK song (and we love it)."
Dig Me In: A Dig Me Out Covers Album will celebrate 25 years of Sleater-Kinney's third album Dig Me Out, and will feature other contributions from Wilco, St. Vincent, Self Esteem, Big Joanie, Low, The Linda Lindas and more.
25% of net proceeds from the covers album will be donated to Portland LGBTQIA+ youth centre SMYRC.
Margo Price's version of "Turn It On" is out now. Sleater-Kinney will release Dig Me In: A Dig Me Out Covers Album on 21 October, and it's available to pre-order now.
